- The Instructables website is fantastically fun! All kinds of people post instructions for their own do-it-yourself projects of all kinds, including projects in science, construction, art, electronics, etc. Other folks post comments with questions & suggestions, leading to more projects & variations. There are also sponsored contests & promotions.
- About.com is a great place to learn just about anything that interests you. Each topic is adopted by an editor & some are more energetic than others. The Graphics Editor is notable: she offers many software & skills tutorials, free downloads & a weekly "Graphics Challenge" for people to practice their graphic art skills & get feedback & tips from the other participants.
